MATERIAL DESCRIPTION
Acrylic (PMMA) (Poly methyl methacrylate) Transparent thermoplastic with excellent rigidity, strength and optical clarity.
Acetal (POM) Polyoxymethylene Engineering thermoplastic offering outstanding dimensional stability, low friction and high stiffness properties.
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) Highly modifiable thermoplastic with excellent impact resistance, toughness and processing properties.
Polyphenylene Sulphide (PPS) Rigid engineering thermoplastic offering exceptional heat, chemical and flame resistance.
Nylon (PA) Polyamide Crystalline thermoplastic providing excellent chemical and wear resistance, as well as offering toughness and rigidity. Nylon allows for various glass and fill types.
Polycarbonate (PC) Common thermoplastic providing noteworthy impact resistance and transparency.
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Highly solvent resistant thermoplastic known for its large strength-to-density ratio.
Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Naturally opaque thermoplastic offering high impact strength, moisture and chemical resistance.
Polypropylene (PP) Incredibly dynamic thermoplastic used in a wide range of applications. PP offers excellent impact strength, resistance to stress and cracking and fill-capabilities.
High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Relatively low-cost thermoplastic with excellent impact strength, heat resistance and dimensional strength.
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Common thermoplastic offering great mechanical strength, toughness and UV resistance. PVC is used in an increasingly wide range of applications.
